Dental Office & Team Photography in Gilbert, Arizona | Signature Dental Partners
In April 2026, I photographed two Gilbert dental practices as part of a corporate photography assignment for Signature Dental Partners. The goal was to create a consistent collection of professional photographs showing the people, offices, and everyday working environments behind each practice.
The project included photography at Smiles at San Tan Ranch and Cobblestone Dental Care, with each location needing a combination of individual employee portraits, team photographs, candid workplace imagery and office interior photography.
For a business with multiple locations, creating that variety while maintaining a consistent visual style is especially important. The final photographs can be used across websites, employee profiles, recruiting, social media, marketing materials, and other business communications.

Creating More Than Standard Employee Headshots
Professional portraits were one of the main priorities for both offices, but the project needed to show more than a collection of isolated headshots.
For healthcare businesses, the people clients interact with are a major part of the brand. Professional employee portraits help introduce those people before a patient ever walks through the door.
I photographed staff members individually with a clean, approachable style that could work for employee profiles, websites and marketing materials.
Rather than making every portrait feel overly formal, I wanted the images to remain professional while still reflecting the friendly environment patients would experience at the practice.
Photographing Dental Teams as a Group
Team photography provides something individual portraits cannot: a sense of the organization as a whole.
At both Gilbert locations, I created group photographs showing the staff together outside the practice.
These images can be especially useful for an About page, recruiting materials, company announcements and social media because they immediately give prospective patients or employees a better understanding of the people behind the business.
When photographing a larger team, small details such as spacing, posture and positioning make a major difference. The goal is to create enough structure for the photograph to look polished without making everyone appear stiff.
Showing the Office Environment
The assignment also included photographs of the dental offices themselves.
I documented treatment rooms, equipment, reception areas and other parts of the facilities to create a more complete visual representation of each location.
Interior photography is particularly valuable for healthcare businesses because new patients often want to know what the office will look and feel like before scheduling an appointment.
Clean photographs of the reception area and treatment rooms can help make a practice feel more familiar while also showing the level of care that goes into the physical environment.
Candid Photography of Employees at Work
Some of the most useful corporate photographs are neither portraits nor traditional group photographs.
They are images of people actually doing their jobs.
For the dental offices, this included staff working inside treatment areas and interacting within the practice.
These photographs help explain what the business does without relying entirely on written descriptions.
They can also be used throughout a company website to visually support service pages, recruiting content and marketing campaigns.
The key is creating photographs that feel natural while still being intentional enough to work as professional business imagery.
Creating Consistent Photography Across Multiple Locations
Photographing two locations for the same organization also required consistency.
Although each office has its own layout, employees and environment, the finished imagery still needs to feel like it belongs to the same larger brand.
That means paying attention to lighting, composition, portrait style and the types of images created at each location.
For companies with multiple offices, establishing a repeatable photography approach can make future sessions easier as employees are added or new locations open.
Instead of every office having a completely different visual style, the company can gradually build a consistent library of professional photography across the organization.
Why Businesses Need More Than a Few Headshots
A modern company website can require photographs for dozens of different uses.
One photography session can create content for:
Employee profiles and leadership pages
About and company culture pages
Social media
Recruiting
Office location pages
Marketing campaigns
Service pages
Press and public relations
That is why I approach corporate photography as a content library rather than simply delivering a handful of portraits.
Before a business shoot, it helps to understand where the photographs will eventually appear. That allows me to create a better mix of horizontal, vertical, environmental and people-focused imagery during the session.

About Your Corporate Photographer
I’m Paul Tumpson, a Phoenix-based corporate photographer and videographer working with businesses, healthcare practices, professional teams, and organizations throughout Arizona.
My corporate photography work includes professional headshots, employee and team portraits, workplace photography, office interiors, events, interviews, and marketing content. I approach each project by first understanding how the final images will be used so the shoot can be organized around the company’s actual needs.
For larger teams and multi-location businesses, consistency is especially important. I pay attention to lighting, framing, posing, and overall visual style so photographs created at different times or locations still feel like they belong to the same brand.
My goal is to make the process organized and efficient for your team while creating professional photography that gives clients, customers, and future employees a better understanding of the people and environment behind your business.
